About Janette Lockett
A leading, self-taught equestrian artist
Janette Lockett was born in South Yorkshire, England in 1963. Her passion for horses developed as a young child. When Janette moved to Malaga, Andalusia, Spain, she found the perfect setting and inspiration for her creative talent, and she soon became established as a leading, self-taught equestrian artist in Mijas, Marbella and throughout the Costa del Sol.
Janette creates beautiful and majestic, yet sensitive, horse paintings. She has held a number of solo exhibitions of her equestrian paintings, and participated in several Group art exhibitions in Spain, the UK and Switzerland. Her paintings have been bought and delivered to most parts of the world, and can also be found in the private collections of leading art collectors and royalty.
In Malaga province, Janette’s artwork can also be viewed at Galería Tamisa, Mijas village, where she has been, and still is, a resident artist for many years, and has enjoyed much success with her work. Janette Lockett is an Associate Member of the Society of Equestrian Artists UK.

Janette’s painting images, of either the equestrian paintings, or the ethereal nudes, can be acquired by companies for use as Company Logos, or for normal or 3D printing in quantity on to T-Shirts, Sweat Shirts, bathroom/bedroom wall tiles, and so forth, strictly by prior written agreement between both parties.
